Tom is one of our most experienced instructors having taught every winter (and some summers) for the last 10 years.

He now lives year round in Zermatt making the most of the stunning summers here. He’s a massive fan of charging down the mountain bike flow trials with his buddies and will often be found on the Snowboat terrace roof with a cocktail!

Tom was great and I really enjoyed the lessons. He pushed me and most impressively managed not to outwardly laugh when I stacked it.

Tom was absolutely amazing. He made our trip! He was so easy to be with. So fun. So thoughtful. So intelligent. We all agreed he was the best part of Zermatt. We went on to ski in Chamonix. And all we could talk about was how much we missed Tom! He is the best!!

Tom was absolutely first class with the 4 children. We couldn't have asked for more in terms of flexibility, patience, enthusiasm and energy and the children loved his approach and learnt a lot. We very much hope to be back in 9 months and will be in touch and hope he will be available and happy to take the children on again!

I was very impressed by Tom's professionalism and knowledge. Although we were in group lessons, Tom was able to address everyone's individual areas for improvement and offered very helpful feedback and advice. The lessons were incredibly valuable and I definitely felt like a better skier by the end of the week.

He is an excellent instructor. He focusses on key information to improve skiiing instead of bombarding information. My ski skills improved significantly more than with other previous instructors.

3 reasons to ski with Tom

Tom loves skiing and hopefully some of his passion for the sport, the mountains and Zermatt will be passed onto you.

Having worked in Zermatt for over 5 years Tom has a great inside knowledge and will make sure you avoid lift queues, get the best restaurant bookings and find the best snow!

Let’s be honest, skiing is hard work and Tom is more than happy to share a bottle of rosé on some of the restaurant terraces if it all gets a bit much. 😎
