We had a skiing lesson with Sasha for both our child and ourselves, and it was a fantastic experience. Sasha was incredibly patient and a truly wonderful instructor, making the whole lesson enjoyable and stress-free. Thanks to Sasha, our time skiing in Zermatt was not only fun but also memorable. Excellent experience! Rob Greatbach the best ski instructor ever! I booked 5 day full day instructor for my 18 year old daughter and my 13 year old son. We were lucky to have Rob Greatbach appointed to us. He made our ski performance improve with detail and tailored tips for each one of us. Rob knows the mountain inside out. He booked lunch every day in the best restos around the mountain which made the ski day even better. Rob also helped us book activities off ski, which was great for us first timers at Zermatt. Thank you Rob! We greatly appreciated. You made our holidays!

I am so glad I decided to do my ski lessons with Summit, I couldn’t recommend them enough! I went for the Level 1 lessons as I’d had a few lessons in a snowdome but never been on a ski trip.My instructor Ollie was brilliant, he was really patient with the whole group but also on an individual level too, he took good care of us all and the small groups of up to 4 almost felt like a private lesson with tailored tips and things to work on. I originally booked 3 lessons but even added an extra day! By the end of the trip I was comfortably in parallel and skiing reds!

We've had an amazing time in Zermatt together with Summit. It was the first year skiing for my son. With Philippe Rossa we had a great teacher. We've booked 4 half days. Day 1 started on the Wallipark beginner's slope, day 4 ended on the red slopes and even 1 black one. Amazing progression thanks to the highly qualified teacher! I've skied wiAlso the kindness and service of Summit Ski School is of the highest level.

Off Piste Day with Summit Ski & Snowboard School Absolute amazing experience with instructor Rob going off piste for the day. We were lucky enough to get a massive snow storm the night before and had an amazing powder day. Rob was super knowledgeable and helpful with any questions we had! A perfect introduction to Zermatt My wife and I, along with our two sons were first time visitors to Zermatt. We hired Summit Ski & Snowboard school to introduce us to the mountain. Rob Greatbach and Amalie Knudsen were wonderful guides. Right from the start, we headed to the top of Rothorn and went on a long run. Rob and Amalie were able to discern our skiing skills and adapted accordingly. We skied much of the Sunnegga and Riffelberg area to the tune of 15,000 vertical feet before lunch. They then gave us pointers for the afternoon and the next day. Two days later, Rob took us to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and into Italy. The tram was having difficulties so Rob adapted and we got some great runs in while others were waiting for the lift. Once we went into the Italian side, he took us from Valtourenche to Breuil-Cervina from top to bottom. It was an amazing and full day - 30,400 vertical feet! Rob is a wealth of knowledge. Along with learning the mountains, the told us about the geology of the area, about glaciers and how they have changed over time and more. He knew all the names of the peaks and stories about them. Rob is flexible, creative, resourceful and a great conversationalist. We recommend Rob, Amalie and Summit Ski & Snowboard school highly.

More runs, less maps We had the pleasure of having Alex as our guide for our family of 4 and it was completely worth it. Without a guide, we spent a lot of time reading trail maps and getting the lay of the land. With Alex, we skied so much more. My husband and daughters are advanced skiers compared to me and having Alex enabled all of us to see and do much more. He took us to Italy, did some mini lessons with me and took the others on some great terrain. We originally only had one session booked but booked a second - after having a day with him-money well-spent! Great skiing, learned some things to help us ski better and was also a wealth of info about this area. Highly recommend Summit and request Alex!

Yesterday my husband and I had one of the best days of our lives, and it was entirely thanks to Olivia from Summit Ski and Snowboard School. It was our first day in Zermatt, and we treated ourselves to a day with a guide to eliminate map studying and internet researching and all other preparations that become unnecessary when you can spend the day with someone who already knows the answers to the questions. The school was proactive with communications, and our guide contacted us a few days before to discuss the day and make lunch reservations on our behalf. She knew all the ins and outs of the mountain, and we spent very little time waiting in lift lines as a result of her planning. My husband and I are middle aged people with children about the same age as our young guide, but her youth was apparent only in her appearance. Olivia’s poise, sophistication, communication, and general disposition were those of a woman twice her age. We were so impressed with her and got to chatting about the extensive training process her employer provides- it is clear that Summit Ski and Snowboard School cares deeply about guest experience. We cannot recommend them highly enough, and considered the price an absolute bargain for what you get in return. Thank you Olivia and Summit Ski and Snowboard School, from the bottom of our hearts.

Great experience year after year - thank you! Our children have been skiing with Summit for four consecutive years, in a mix of group lessons and private tuition, and the experience has been consistently excellent. The instructors are warm, patient, and brilliant at keeping kids engaged while still pushing real progression. Each season we’ve seen clear improvement, not only in technique but also in confidence and independence on the mountain. We’ll absolutely continue coming back.
