About:

I was born in the beautiful Scottish countryside and introduced by my parents to skiing at the age of three.

When I was 17 I moved to Italy and got hooked on pizzas – not just Margherita’s but teaching them too – and I haven’t considered a life without skiing since. Having spent the last 6 winters teaching and coordinating in Italy, Australia and Japan I love that Snowsports is my career.

Taking my level 3 exams lead me to discovering Zermatt and 2 years later I’m beyond privileged to now be doing what I love in the most incredible setting.

In the summer:
In the past I’ve gone to Australia for more winter but this year I worked as a Logistics Manager in the UK.
My Zermatt insider tip is:
You don’t have to skin or hike to find great pow or variables. Zermatt has incredible yellow itineraries that are monitored for avalanche risk but not patrolled. Get there early for some insane turns!
If I wasn't a Summit instructor:
If I knew the answer to this question I think my high school teachers wouldn’t have felt so helpless!
3 reasons to ski with me:
1. First timer, all mountain ripper, nervous, confident, experienced… no matter who you are I am the person who will take your skiing to the next level. With years of experience with all types of learners I have the skills to ensure you’ll make the most of your ski time.
2. Our session will be structured around you (or your kids) and your goals. I’ll take time to understand how you learn best and with that there’s no doubt we’ll make incredible progress.
3. I’m always keen for taking pictures in the mountains. Once we have the new skills dialed I’ll be happy to get behind the camera, lie on the piste and get those all import insta shots.
