I am from a small valley named Walden dale in the Yorkshire Dales, it’s a beautiful quiet space.  However after school I left for the mountains where too it’s beautiful and quiet but just with a little more snow! After winning a ‘ski instructor in the making’ certificate aged 14 on a school ski trip I started thinking more about pursuing this as a career.

I am now chasing the snow around the world and spending winter in the Alps then over to New Zealand for more winter. I’m also qualified to teach adaptive lessons and I have just stated learning snowboarding. (I’m familiar again with what it is like to be a beginner!)

In between seasons I try a catch a bit of sun and swap my ski boots for flippers and go scuba diving. I feel very lucky as I have my passion as a career, I love been able to share this and the adventures of being in the mountains.

Thank you for all the help when booking, it was made very easy with the email correspondence and flexibility with booking and times etc.

The person we spoke to made was careful to understand our skiing level and what we were looking for, so we ended up with an instructor who was appropriate to our needs.

I am particularly grateful to Hannah for having recommended Faye to be my granddaughter, Nina's, instructor. Nina had had a bad experience with another ski school in Zermatt and Faye's friendly, gentle professionalism helped put Nina back on the right track!

Nikola, your receptionist with whom I dealt both via. e-mail & in resort was fantastic. Very helpful in explaining our options and helping us get the best out of our booking during the week when it was necessary to be flexible because of the conditions.

Clive

My instructor was very friendly and patient. She taught me to work on something specific despite being part of a group lesson, which I found very helpful. Paul was very informative and helpful and answered my e-mail enquires quickly.

Steph

Thank you for such a wonderful time! We truly had fun skiing with you the past week.

3 reasons to ski with Ellie

1
I’m extremely patient and understand standing on two planks of wood is a bit weird at the start so if your beginning out and a little nervous I can assure you that we will have a calm lesson one step at a time.

2
I will always ask first what you want out of the lesson and we will tailor our time to meet exactly your goals

I love being a big kid and having loads of fun teaching the little ones to ski but I also love being able to talk a little more technically with the adults. Either way I know we will have a great time so pick me!
