I have over 25 years of teaching skiing (I started young!) Teaching in a number of different countries, including 12 winters in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, has opened my eyes to the many different ways of skiing, teaching and learning:
I want to put you at the centre. I teach skiing to clients of all ages and teach bumps, powder skiing, racing and instructor training. In summers I teach watersports and I also enjoy cooking and photography.
3 reasons to ski with Dave:
1. I put you first; listening to find out what you want to achieve not what I want to teach!
2. Fun, fun, fun!
3. Stuck? Bored? Working too hard? I can to help you get to the next level, maybe even those yellow itinerary runs.
I just wanted to let you know that our family had an amazing experience with Dave. From the first minute, he grabbed Charlie’s attention and got us moving. He took us step by step, starting with making sure our boots were on correctly(which they weren’t). He kept the three of us moving and progressing with encouragement. I would have never imagined that we would have made as much progress as we had. By the end, Charlie was going up the ramp on his own and coming down by himself while my husband was skiing with Dave. We could not be more pleased with our whole experience and just wanted to make sure you know how great Dave was.
Dave always provides a superb lesson which just pushes me a little outside my comfort zone each time so that I finish with a feeling of great achievement.
Simply outstanding! Dave made sure he understood what we wanted and delivered it in spades (or even snow shovels)!
I enjoyed his company, he was enthusiastic and had lots of tips about Zermatt. Great idea of leaving my skis up the mountain so I didn’t have to schlepp them around in the morning. Dave accommodated two different skiers and gave us both excellent tuition.
