Erica Meredith Hardy

Bio

Erica is one of the founding directors of Summit and has been in Zermatt since 2000. She is one of the few women to hold the top level BASI qualification.

Before settling in Zermatt she also taught in Verbier and New Zealand. In the summer she enjoys catching up with her family, learning to windsurf.

Powder, slushy bumps or spring snow

What would beat a powder day?

Not much.... maybe sometime by the sea with friends and family

If you weren't a ski instructor what would you be doing?

Something in yoga or nutrition

What is your next personal challenge/goal/aspiration outside skiing?

To conquer windsurfing

What do you miss most about being a kid?

Summer holidays with my family in the States

What are you listening to at the moment?

Crystal Fighters, Bon Iver, Friendly Fires, Arcade Fire and so much more

Who inspires you?

My son - he's three years old and I can't believe what he has already achieved in life, and how much fun it's been on the way
