New Schoolers | 12-16 year olds

The New Schoolers groups are designed to make teenagers feel at home. Not like traditional ski school, the emphasis is definitely on having fun as we blast around the slopes. The Summit instructor will demand maximum mileage and teach all the latest techniques and tricks, even venturing into the terrain park and half pipe.

The New Schoolers are, without doubt, the coolest class on the slopes!

New Schoolers Levels

kids club blue

The teenagers in this group are skiing red runs and are ready to tackle the blacks. The group will improve their technique, learn new tricks and become more aware of mountain safety.

kids club blue

This is our top level group for teenagers who have almost mastered the slopes. The group will perfect their skiing skills, get a safe introduction to the terrain park and variable snow. They will try to take on every black run in the resort!

"The kids absolutely loved him and every morning they couldn't wait to meet up with the group again"

G. Corrigan, April 2011

Lunch

All the groups normally eat together. The instructors will look after the children during the lunch period but you will need to give your child some money for their lunch and a hot chocolate stop each day (approx. 25-30chf)

Kids Groups FAQ's

Should I book in advance?

Yes. Our kids' groups sometimes book up months in advance.

Do the children get an award at the end of the week?

Yes. We use the Snowlife Snowsport Award Scheme. This sets a variety of technical tasks and challenges at nine different levels. The instructors will lead the children through the appropriate level throughout the lessons and present them with their badge, booklet and certificate at the end of the week.

Should my kid wear a helmet?

Yes. We recommend that all children wear helmets when skiing (it is a legal requirement in Italy up to 16yrs old).
