The forecast was for a lot of snow and it has come! There was a bit of snow on thursday and then friday morning the heavens opened and it hasn’t really stopped since! It is still snowing in town now but pretty lightly. The mountain was closed completely yesterday which hasn’t happened for a long time and today it has been opening up slowly. Now there are a couple of runs open on Sunnegga and Gornergrat, but it is still pretty windy up there though.
The forecast for this week is for a bit of sun over the next couple of days and then more snow. So contrary to the doom and gloom of the UK press we are shaping up for a great season, lets hope it keeps on coming!
